As a proud 2nd generation American of Latin and Chinese descent, I was born and raised in Tucson and have continued to call Tucson "home" as I raise my two children and live within minutes of my parents.
While residing in Ward 1 for 43+ years, I have witnessed the challenges that my community has faced, from increased crime and poor street conditions to the clsoure of small businesses and neglect of our community needs. This has fueled my drive to make a difference and help those around me.
My deep love for our beautiful community inspired me to pursue a career in real estate, where I have been advising residential and commercial clientele since 2014. In addition to my thriving real estate business, I currently serve as the President of the Tucson REALTORS® Charitable Foundation, where I am able to give back to my community in a meaningful way, providing grants to non-profit organizations and programs that serve the Tucson community, with a focus on supporting education, housing, and healthcare initiatives. Prior to my career in real estate, I also worked at Raytheon Missile Systems as a contractor and employee supporting our service men & women on the frontlines for 11 years.
As a fervent lifelong volunteer, I have previously served as President of Kiwanis Tucson Borderlands Young Professionals; as the Liaison between Raytheon and the Arizona School for the Deaf and Blind; a volunteer and committeeman for the Joseph Blair Charity Group; and I provided years of volunteer service in my church Victory Worship Center (now Zion City Church), just to name a few.
Through my extensive professional experience and volunteer work, I have gained valuable skills in leadership, community outreach, and public service. I’m dedicated to continuing to serve my community, this time as a member of the Tucson City Council, while working with people of all views and opinions to find common ground and finally bring long awaited solutions to Tucson.
